Who am I...
I have always been a creative person, but did not know how to express it. I wanted to create video games, but that was unavailable to me. So, I majored in Graphic Art and Design at Vatterott College.
In the beginning, I had to know the basics of Graphic Design by learning how to do stipples, Crosshatches, my own form of typography, colored pencil, ink, morph and graphite. Later on, I began to work with QuarkXPress, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and HTML to make logos, business cards, envelopes, letterheads, product labels, book covers, posters, postcards, newspaper ads, billboards, flyers and websites.
During my time at Vatterott, I became a member of the Student Government Representatives, then later, secretary. I had to resign due to my class duties. In my third phase, I was awarded, "Student of the Phase" by my department. I graduated Magna cum Laude with a Diaploma in Commercial Art from Vatterott College in October 2009. I also earned two degrees from Metro Community College; the first for Associate of Applied Sciences, Computer Technology - Micro Computer Programming in 2002 and the second for Associate of Applied Sciences, Computer Technology - Web Development in 2011.
I became a graphic designer because I wanted to express myself. I find it great that what started out as an idea becomes real. Sometimes, the projects I like most are the ones that are the spur of the moment. They are not planned and usually came whenever something is bothering me or when I had an idea for the longest time and did not know how to express it.
